22nd annual dinner Dance
The Pan Gregorian of Connecticut Charitable Foundation’s annual dinner dance, held at the beautiful Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury, was a great success! Over 200 members, vendor partners, friends and family attended this year’s event. Guest speaker Garrison Leykam, radio host and author of ‘Classic Diners of Connecticut’, spoke to the attendees about his travels through the state of Connecticut visiting classic diners and their owners.
This year the Foundation donated to the Children’s Fund at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Hellenic Cultural Center at The University of Connecticut, and gave scholarships to 9 students in college, with each receiving $2500 to support their studies. All told, the Foundation donated over $22,000 this year! All the money raised from the event goes to these worthy causes, so if you did not attend this year, please plan on supporting the event next year! Thank you to all of the members and vendor partners that made this year a huge success!
